Trade Tips: Chair Frame Construction

  4. Thank you Columnist. Pitch is really what makes a chair comfortable in my opinion. Depending on how a chair is upholstered, if you have a good upholsterer, they can usually make adjustments to help the pitch, but only by so much. Once the frame is constructed, the pitch is set for the most part.
